As I try lately to make my apartment here in the DC area feel a bit more like home, I’ve been trying to go through photos, souvenirs, and other items to decorate the place. I was sharing some photos to family recently and sent out some photos from my recent trip to the Czech Republic and the town of Český Krumlov. The town is gorgeous, it as if postcards were invented for places like this. The castle too is just beautiful, particularly at night where they had left parts of it open for travelers to wander through and take photos as they wished. It must not have been too well advertised though as there were few in the castle area that evening, some couples wandering, some fellow photographers, and the large European brown bears occupying the moat. I found this passageway in the castle area, and it was nicely lit but eerily deserted of people.
