It is not a very recent photograph for me. I just thought about it recently since one of my friends on the trip requested me to find it for them and it reminded me that I never posted much from Italy at all on my blog. I do really like the photo as the sun was getting low in the sky during my first night on this trip through mid and southern italy. I had meant to post a more recent photograph this week and I will get to more recent photographs soon but lately I’ve been putting a lot of effort into organizing my digital and non-digital life as of late. Maybe I will post something about the whole organization process because I’m sure many people fall into the same issues I do, and I would love to share what I’m doing and learn from what others have done as well. But until then my life seems far more disorganized during the process than it did before it. Maybe it’s common that things get worse all before they get better? But either way looking back at photos from months or years past always bring back some great memories and emotions. I’m now dreaming of travel again even so soon after my last trip…maybe I’m an addict.

What a great shot, Anwar! And it really does bring Italy to mind immediately. I was thinking this well before I scrolled down and saw that Molly had said the same. I’m looking forward to your post on your organisational issues., too.
Love this! A great shot, so indicative of Italy to me.

Cool shot! I’d love to see a companion photo, of the building in the background in focus!

Hmm I’ll have to see if I have one of those! Honestly I don’t know. I saw the building and the scooters and I just knew I wanted a photo this way.
I’m an addict too
Neat focus in the picture.

Haha yeah I think the more you travel the more you want to see! My “bucket list” if i have one seems to always get longer and never shorter!
Great shot! We spent a couple of hours in Sorrento while on a cruise last summer and I thought it was beautiful – would love to go back.

Your photo’s great Anwar. I like the fact that it is not the usual photo one sees of Sorrento!! I for one would be interested to know about your organization process!! I have just returned from a month away and feel as though I should be starting again!!
Look forward to reading more about Italy!!

I’m already getting behind again in organization. The more photos I take the harder it seems to get. I’ve been writing some scripts and I’m trying to see if I want to keep maintaining that kind of thing (or improving them) or see if I can find a reasonable commercial package that will do it better. I’ve been testing out a few solutions, but not as in depth as I would like due to lack of time. I think digital organization seems to be a common problem for everyone.
My latest entry is about Italy too. I’ve just been back from a solo backpacking trip in Europe and I regret not having the time to spend more in that beautiful country. Never been to Sorrento though–just to Rome, Venice, Padova, Pisa, Florence, and Verona. Hope to be able to visit there next time!
